Meet Volunteer Information

All volunteers will need to check in at the volunteer table that will be set up inside the main pool entrance. 

First half volunteers (working events 1 - 40) should be behind the blocks in starting position 20 minutes before the meet begins.

First half tent parents need to report by 1.5 hours before the meet begins.

Second half volunteers should sign in and obtain their lanyard as well and be ready to work anytime around 7:00 p.m. as you take over at event 41. The starter will make announcements for second half volunteers when your start time is approaching.

Second half tent parents should check in with first half tent parents periodically as you begin working when you start calling swimmers for Event 41 which will happen 20 - 30 minutes BEFORE this event is in the water.

Be sure to return your lanyard before leaving!

Home Meet Details

Concessions: Please bring baked goods to club house after 3:00 pm on day of meet (Thursday). Please bring drinks to club house during practice the day before (Wednesday), or if they are cold, the day of the meet (Thursday). (We can't sell warm drinks.)

Volunteer Name Badges: Name badges are now on lanyards. Remember to pick up your name badge at the start of the meet. Be sure to return it at the end of the meet. (These are great to have, but expensive to replace.)

Volunteer Assignments: View from the Job Signup button for the meet or on the Swimtopia app.

Tent Set Up (Wednesday): Anyone who can help set up the large tents the evening before the meet, contact - Stewart Watson - 505-0523

Parking: Please leave the parking lot open for SAIL officials and the visiting team. Park on the side streets - one side only - or consider walking if possible.

Make Up Meets: Information will be determined the night of meet if delayed.

Day of Meet Schedule

  • 2:30pm - Anyone who is able to help set up the deck, please come!
  • 3:30pm - Swimmers at team tent for set up body markings, etc.
  • 3:45-4:15pm - Team warm ups
  • 5:00pm - Meet begins

We will need EVERYONE’S help cleaning up after the meet!
